About our client
The company is a remote, profitable, bootstrapped SaaS company operating since 2008, providing online privacy and anonymity tools to a global customer base through a self-serve, product-led subscription model. The company is lean, founder-led, and growing.

The Opportunity
This is not a traditional corporate management role. You’ll work directly with the founder/CEO as right-hand and operator across Product, IT Operations, HR and Marketing, with a clear path toward becoming CEO as you prove yourself. You’ll combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution — there’s no large team behind you to delegate to, so you’ll be close to the work.

What you’ll own

  • Improve revenue growth and profitability across the full user journey (acquisition → activation → monetization → retention).
  • Oversee SaaS PLG-led operational effectiveness: subscription funnels, lifecycle management, churn reduction.
  • Lead company-wide execution through dashboards, KPIs, and clear accountability.
  • Take full P&L ownership after 6–12 months.

What we’re looking for

  • 5+ years leading product/tech teams (product management, customer success, IT ops, engineering, data) — ideally in technical/infrastructure/hosting/cloud/privacy products.
  • 2+ years in a small bootstrapped company (<50 people), ideally one that grew from ~10-20 to 30-40+ people and from $1M to $5M+ ARR.
  • 3+ years of remote leadership managing distributed, multicultural teams.
  • 3+ years of hands-on SaaS PLG growth experience (self-serve mechanics: onboarding, activation, retention, churn, monetization).
  • Comfortable with SaaS metrics (MRR, CAC, LTV, churn) and data-driven decision-making.
  • Has worked closely with founders or in a senior leadership role.
  • P&L ownership experience is a strong plus.
  • Fluent English required.

Not a fit if you:

  • Prefer highly structured corporate environments with lots of support.
  • Come primarily from a sales-led background.
  • Dislike hands-on execution or discomfort with full accountability.
